Edwin Ushiro’s “Capturing What Still Glimmers” at GR2.
Opening this coming Saturday, June 18th, 2016 at Giant Robot 2 in Los Angeles, California is the phenomenal looking solo exhibition by friend and artist Edwin Ushiro entitled “Capturing What Still Glimmers.”
Using flashes of memories from his childhood - described in enchanting, spectral and lush scenes of dreamlike beauty - Ushiro is able to define emotion and story in a very singular and potent voice. He says of the work in this show that “every painting focuses on the point in our lives when you make a decision that cannot be undone and/or a decision that was made for you.”
“Capturing What Still Glimmers” will be on display until July 6th, 2016. It should not be missed.
